Introduction

The Festival has evolved from grassroots beginnings to being among the highlights on Queensland's tourism calendar, with up to 10,000 visitors expected to come to this small Queensland town for the 2006 happenings. Festival highlights include themes based around local produce and the traffic stopping Great Australian Pie Eating contest. Combine this with a country style Dinner Dance and an enormous craft and produce market, and you have a Festival that offers enormous opportunities.
